In lumina tainica a Jaristei, Dumnezeu imi alege si-mi trimite clientii si vestea e dusa de turme, de vale printre fumuri si ape.

Atunci pe nestiute, musterii din imprejurul Curtii Vechi infloresc si se impletesc zi de zi, seara de seara, alaturi de povestile Pamantului, alaturi de Laura Crasmarita, cantand si veselind cu taraful cel mai vestit din tot Buceagul, fraternizand cu dansatoarele ce-si impletesc in cositele lor garoafe albe si rosii pe strunele viorii, pe clapele pianului si din cand in cand mai vine cate-o palida beizade ce izvodeste un nou aghios.

Peste toate acestea vin darurile noastre ce se amesteca cu mirosurile cuhniei unde focurile sunt vesnic aprinse, unde lumea este in sarbatoare, unde retele veacurilor stapanesc fara oprelisti.

Aici se vede toata invatatura!
Aici e gura si stomacul filozof!

In the mysterious light of Jaristea, God chooses and sends me the clients, and rumor is spread by flocks down the valley among smokes and waters.

Then, unbeknownst,customers all around the Old Court emerge and mingle day after day,night after night, together with tales of the Land, with Laura the Inn Keeper, singing and making merry with the folk music band most famous in the whole Bugeacul, befriending with dancers wreathing white and red carnations in their braids to the tune of violin strings and piano keys, and every now and then, cornes a pale young prince begetting a new chant.

On top of this come our gifts blending with the odors of the kitchen where fires are forever burning, where the world is in eternal celebration, where centuries-old recipes prevail unhindered.
